Jonathan India Activated Monday

Cincinnati Reds second baseman Jonathan India (hamstring) was activated from the injured list ahead of his team’s Monday night game against the Arizona Diamondbacks. India was originally expected to be activated later in the week but the Reds sped up the process, placing Aristides Aquino on the injured list with a left calf strain in a corresponding move to make room for India on the active roster. Despite the unexpected activation, India is not in the lineup on Monday as Matt Reynolds will remain at second base. India has played in just 11 games this season due to his hamstring issues.
