Michael Kopech To Throw Bullpen Thursday

Michael Kopech

Chicago White Sox starting pitcher Michael Kopech (knee) will throw a bullpen session in Houston on Thursday to test his injured knee, and he’s tentatively on track to start on Sunday against the Houston Astros. Kopech had fluid drained from his knee on Monday after getting injured in his start on Sunday against the Texas Rangers and has been feeling better. The 26-year-old right-hander only made it two-thirds of an inning before departing his last outing due to injury, which will make him extra risky in fantasy if he indeed makes a start this Sunday. Overall, Kopech has been very solid for his fantasy managers with a 2-2 record, 1.92 ERA, 0.93 WHIP, 51 strikeouts and 24 walks in 51 2/3 frames over 11 starts.
