Monte Morris Receiving Interest From Teams

Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green dunks the ball

Denver Nuggets guard Monte Morris is receiving trade interest from clubs throughout the league. The 26-year-old averaged a career-high 12.6 points, 4.4 assists, and 3.0 boards while shooting 39.5% from deep last season and was a pivotal component of the team’s starting rotation. He has two years and $18.9 million remaining on his current deal. Yet, with Jamal Murray (knee) expected to return for the start of the regular season along with the anticipated progression of Bones Hyland, the organization may look to move the former Cyclone and save some cash in the process. Morris has shown flashes of efficiency over the years. Yet, he could thrive with a change of scenery, which would certainly benefit managers in all formats.
