Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Seranthony Dominguez tossed a scoreless inning to earn the save during Saturday’s 2-1 win over the Washington Nationals. He entered the ninth inning to protect a one-run lead and tossed a perfect frame to earn his first save of the season. Philadelphia continues to use a closer-by-committee approach between Brad Hand and Dominguez after the Phillies removed Corey Knebel from the closer role earlier in the week. Dominguez has been excellent this season, posting a 1.73 ERA, 0.88 WHIP, and 34 strikeouts over 26 innings. Fantasy managers searching for saves should add the Phillies right-hander in all league formats.
