Big Game, Little Body
New York Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson is known for packing a ton of talent into a comparatively small NBA body. The son of Rick Brunson, a former NBA player, Brunson has been creating basketball memories since he was (actually) small.
His father's Bulls took on Michael Jordan and the Washington Wizards. Brunson, 6, was in attendance wearing Jordan's jersey. Y'know, the guy universally known as the second-best basketball player ever, at worst. Jordan offered to sign the child's jersey.
Brunson declined. His signature would mess his jersey up.
It was comical at the time and remains a laughing point between father and son. Who declines an autograph from Jordan? Brunson's been shocking people with his demeanor and stature for as long as he could remember. So don't be surprised when he surprises folks again during his Knicks tenure.
