Anthony DeSclafani Set To Make Rehab Start Thursday

San Francisco Giants right-hander Anthony DeSclafani (ankle) is scheduled to make his second rehab start for Triple-A Sacramento on Thursday. DeSclafani has been on the sidelines since his April 21 start thanks to inflammation in his ankle. The veteran hurler is not eligible to be activated from the 60-day injured list until late June, but the Giants feel good enough about his ankle to start ramping up his pitch counts. Fantasy gamers should be checking the waiver wire and stashing DeSclafani in anticipation of his expected return at the end of the month.
