The Houston Texans wide receiver will enter yet another year of questionable quarterback play as Davis Mills heads into his second season. Still, there’s little reason to doubt the veteran will see a dip in production. He caught 90 passes last year for 1,037 yards and six touchdowns. It was the sixth time in eight seasons that Cooks surpassed 1,000 yards.
Still the stand-alone star out wide for Houston, he’ll be asked to repeat his performance. Doing so will be critical for his quarterback’s development, so it’s likely he sees a significant target share.
Right now, DraftKings is offering -115 odds on Cooks to surpass 950.5 receiving yards. As long as he stays healthy, he should be able to approach that mark, regardless of who is under center.
