With the amount of injuries the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have suffered this summer, it’s about time they hear some good news.
Wide receiver Chris Godwin has jumped from individual drills to seven-on-seven sessions this week. They’ve been cautious with his rehab and have made it clear that early in the regular season will not be mandatory. Still, he’s looked good in his recovery from ACL surgery and has given Tampa Bay a glimpse of hope that a season-opener return is still possible.
When healthy, Godwin is one of the league’s best receivers. Returning ahead of schedule gives bettors a legitimate reason to consider FanDuel’s over of 11.5 wins (+105).
