New York Yankees outfielder Giancarlo Stanton is not in the starting lineup for Thursday’s game against right-hander Dylan Bundy and the Minnesota Twins. Joey Gallo will be covering right field while Anthony Rizzo will be filling in as designated hitter. Stanton is currently slashing .274/.333/.518 with 12 home runs, 36 RBI and 16 runs over 44 games this year. Expect to see him back in the starting lineup for Friday’s series opener against the Chicago Cubs.
