Chicago White Sox third baseman Jake Burger was removed from the game early on Thursday against the Los Angeles Dodgers with an undisclosed injury. He looked a little uncomfortable after fielding a ground ball in the sixth inning and was replaced by Yoan Moncada. Burger clubbed his seventh home run of the season, singled and scored three runs in the game before departing. The 26-year-old appeared to be shaking his leg, but we’ll provide updates when there’s more clarification on his injury. Burger came into the day hitting .257/.303/.469 with six home runs, 19 RBI and 12 runs scored in 113 at-bats for Chicago.
