Jeremy Pena Heading To The Bench On Tuesday

Houston Astros shortstop Jeremy Pena is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday’s game against right-hander Dane Dunning and the Texas Rangers. Aledmys Diaz will be taking over at shortstop for the contest. Pena has been a revelation for the Astros this season. The rookie hit his ninth home run of the year on Sunday and he’s slashing .277/.333/.471 over 54 games on the season. He’s also stolen six bases on six attempts. The 24-year-old will likely be back in the lineup for the series finale against the Rangers on Wednesday.
