Jonathan Loaisiga To Begin Throwing Program Monday

New York Yankees relief pitcher Jonathan Loaisiga (shoulder) is set to begin a throwing program on Monday. The 27-year-old has been on the 15-day injured list since May 25 due to right shoulder inflammation. He was shut down from throwing upon landing on the injured list. He then traveled to Nicaragua to attend to a family matter. He returned to the team on Sunday. The right-hander has been decent overall this year, but a few disastrous outings have led to him having an ugly 7.02 ERA and 1.56 WHIP across 16.2 innings.
