Josh Jacobs To Lead Committee

Those relying on Josh Jacobs’ volume to carry their fantasy teams might be in a little bit of trouble.

The Las Vegas Raiders running back will be sharing touches, especially with Kenyan Drake. Expected to have a “significant role,” per Tashan Reed of The Athletic, Drake will likely cut into Jacobs’ third down opportunities.

Rookie Zamir White should also see playing time this season, further denting Jacobs’ strength as a workhorse. Jacobs is coming off of a year in which he saw 217 carries, 872 yards, and nine rushing touchdowns.

FanDuel is currently offering -126 odds for Jacobs to fall under 749.5 rush yards in 2022. Given the talent around him, head coach Josh McDaniels’ history with running back committees, and an offense likely to throw more, there could be some value on that bet.
