Ke’Bryan Hayes Collects Two Hits, Swipes Bag On Saturday

Ke'Bryan Hayes

Pittsburgh Pirates third baseman Ke’Bryan Hayes went 2-for-5 with a double, a stolen base, and two runs scored in Saturday’s 7-5 loss to the San Francisco Giants. He continues to lead off for the Pirates and is getting on-base at a .355 clip. The 25-year-old stole his eighth bag on Saturday and is 8-for-11 stolen base attempts this year. He is slashing .275/.355/.378 with two home runs, 22 RBI, 28 runs scored, and eight stolen bases over 251 plate appearances in 2022. The power isn’t there, but Hayes is providing fantasy managers a solid batting average and steals as a staple of Pittsburgh’s top of the order.
