Kellen Mond Having Poor Camp

The Minnesota Vikings will trot out Kirk Cousins at quarterback this season in hopes to contend for the NFC North title. But what if disaster strikes?

If things don’t go Minnesota’s way, it’s possible Kellen Mond hears his name called. Unfortunately, the young quarterback has struggled his way through training camp. Poor timing, interceptions, and a conservative nature have lessened the team’s confidence in him. In fact, he’s yet to win a situational drill this training camp.

Though Sean Mannion, the Vikings second quarterback on the depth chart, has not been impressive either, he’ll likely keep his role as No. 2.

Currently, FanDuel has given Minnesota -110 odds to make it to postseason play. That’s a viable bet now, but if Cousins goes down, it may be worthwhile to bet against the Vikings, even after the line moves.
