Luis Arraez Back In Action Against Yankees

Luis Arraez

Minnesota Twins infielder Luis Arraez (shoulder) is starting at first base and is hitting leadoff on Thursday against New York Yankees right-hander Gerrit Cole. Arraez got the day off on Wednesday due to right shoulder tightness, but he’ll be back in there a day later for the Twins. The 25-year-old Venezuelan has gone 8-for-18 (.444) with no home runs and an RBI in the last five games in the past week and is hitting .361/.448/.410 overall with an .858 OPS, one home run, 13 RBI, 30 runs scored and two stolen bases in 48 games. Arraez won’t provide fantasy managers with much power, but he gets on base and makes consistent contact. The matchup against Cole isn’t great for those setting DFS lineups.
