Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Mookie Betts (rib) is expected to be placed on the injured list with a cracked rib. The 29-year-old was a late scratch for Saturday the second day in a row. X-rays on Betts’ ribs came back negative on Friday. However, he underwent an MRI on Saturday, revealing a cracked rib. Betts will miss at least the next 10 days and won’t be eligible to return until the end of June. Eddy Alvarez and Hanser Alberto should see an uptick in playing time while Betts is sidelined, but both players are mainly a speculative add in deep-league formats.
