NFL Week 12

NFL Rapid Reaction Week 12: Good vibes for AFC West?

In what was supposed to be the most exciting division in the NFL this season, the AFC West has disappointed, but they did not on Sunday. With wacky finishes and a few upsets, it could’ve been the best day for these four teams collectively all season. Well, except maybe for those Broncos

Another week, another win for KC

Even though they played a bad Rams team, it’s obvious that the Chiefs are practically on cruise control. They are just simply a machine that is showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon. We’ll see how they play against a formidable Cincinnati team this weekend, but for now, we are running out of things to say about how good this team is. Years of sustained, competitive, success will do that I suppose.

Good for the Chargers

The Chargers did what now? Won a close game? Late? Yeah, we couldn’t believe it either. Sunday was shaping up to be like every other Chargers game in recent memory, until it wasn’t. For a change, it was Los Angeles that was on the right side of the heartbreaking finish. Imagine that. Justin Herbert led his team down the field for a game-winning drive, but then made the big throw on a great play design for the two point conversion to seal the deal. Although we don’t have the official data, it’s probably not an exaggeration to say that 99% of those people watching thought they wouldn’t convert the two point try. Congrats to the Chargers on flipping the script for one week.

Another Vegas Victory?

It is almost certainly too little, too late for the Raiders in 2022, but Josh McDaniels is here to stay, meaning this was a big week for his Vegas team. We can debate the various reasons surrounding McDaniels job security, but we cannot dispute how big of a deal it is that his team has fought back multiple weeks in a row now and became victorious after doing so. It won’t always be pretty, but at the very least, it’s better than the alternative we’ve seen in Denver.

Enough of the Broncos

Yeah, here are those Denver Broncos. The team is practically begging the season to end, crying out for mercy each and every week. We now have defensive players expressing their disgust with Russell Wilson on the sideline, even though that has been disputed, but this is a team heading most likely for some dark days. With a lack of draft picks and the anchor of Wilson’s contract making it even worse, it’s hard to be positive. Well maybe not. We are only a month away from the nightmare season coming to an end.

Hello there, I’m Nick Brinkerhoff, a New Jersey native with enough sarcasm and attitude to show I’m not from New York. Despite being Jersey born and bred, I’m a diehard New York sports fan (Jets, Nets, Rangers, Mets) who has seen plenty of losing, but my sports betting ability will hopefully continue to balance those scales. I have season tickets to the Jets but believe it to be more character building than bad asset management. Althoug
