NFL Week 13

Nick’s Picks: Don’t sweat Bills-Patriots on TNF with this FanDuel SGP

Welcome to the month of December, the final full month of the NFL regular season. Time flies, doesn’t it? Well, we hope you are having fun this NFL season with us as we gear up for a fierce race to the finish. It seems that the holidays came early this year, with Amazon Prime finally gifting us a great Thursday Night Football matchup in New England between two playoff hopefuls. Tonight’s game could go a long way in helping Bill Belichick’s Patriots get back into the postseason or help the Bills finally start living up to those lofty expectations of playing dominant football. Al Michaels has to be giddy just thinking about it. So buckle up and let’s get this season of giving off to the right start. Consider it a gift from me to you.

Josh Allen (BUF) OVER 46.5 rushing yards (-110)

On a cold night in Foxboro, we can expect the Bills to try and run the ball with their best running back, Josh Allen. That’s right, the quarterback of this Buffalo team actually doubles as their leading rusher, with 561 yards on the ground this season. He’s surpassed this number in four of the last five games and did so in one out of the two games against the Patriots last season. With Matthew Judon and the Patriots pass rush bringing the heat, expect Allen to find those running lanes and escape to move the chains. Against two quarterbacks that like to take off and run this season, the New England defense allowed both Justin Fields and Lamar Jackson to go over 100 rushing yards. It wouldn’t shock me to see Allen come close to that number tonight.

This bet means you are betting on Josh Allen to finish with at least 47 rushing yards in the game. If you want to place this as a single bet, you would need to bet $110 to win another $100.

Stefon Diggs (BUF) OVER 84.5 receiving yards (-110)

For years, Bill Belichick’s defenses have consistently taken away an opponent’s top option and forced teams to look elsewhere. However, that strategy didn’t really work for them on Thanksgiving, as Justin Jefferson torched the Patriots’ secondary. For reference, they even let a bad Jets’ passing attack get Garrett Wilson over the century mark a few weeks ago as well. With Stefon Diggs averaging almost 11 targets per game this season, it won’t take much for him to go over this total. He hasn’t beat this number in each of the last two, but he did in the five before that, so it’s only a matter of time before the Buffalo passing attack gets him more involved again.

Rhamondre Stevenson (NE) OVER 38.5 receiving yards (-110)

The Patriots’ offense has begun to find themselves in the last few weeks and that has given quarterback Mac Jones a new lease on life in the eyes of their fans. Jones can attribute a lot of his success in the passing game to running back Rhamondre Stevenson, who has become a problem for defenses out of the backfield. He has easily gone over this number in four of the last five, recording at least 56 receiving yards in all four of those contests. It’s clear that Stevenson’s real value is being reliable in the passing game and picking up those valuable yards after the catch. With Damien Harris out tonight, expect Stevenson to have even more of an impact.

Hunter Henry (NE) OVER 24.5 receiving yards (-110)

This Bills’ defense might be a stingy bunch, but don’t discount Hunter Henry’s involvement in the offense. Henry has recorded at least 20 receiving yards in four straight, surpassing the 50 yard mark in two of those games. He should’ve had two touchdowns on Thanksgiving, but unfortunately for him no one knows what a catch is, even in 2022. With Belichick probably still irate over the review, it wouldn’t shock me to see the Patriots’ tight end find the end zone, but we’ll play it safe and look for him to go over this low number.

Bills-Patriots same game parlay +1221

This week’s same game parlay pays +1221, meaning a $100 bet would win $1,221 if all four bets win. As always, we are using the FanDuel “No Sweat” Thursday Night Football promo. Head over to the FanDuel promotions page for promo details. If we do not win, you will be refunded up to your max wager in the form of a free bet. Happy betting and please play responsibly.

A same game parlay is when you are wagering on multiple outcomes from the same game in an effort to boost the payout. In order to win the bet, each of the four selected outcomes here must win. If Hunter Henry finishes with 15 receiving yards, then the entire wager would lose.

Hello there, I’m Nick Brinkerhoff, a New Jersey native with enough sarcasm and attitude to show I’m not from New York. Despite being Jersey born and bred, I’m a diehard New York sports fan (Jets, Nets, Rangers, Mets) who has seen plenty of losing, but my sports betting ability will hopefully continue to balance those scales. I have season tickets to the Jets but believe it to be more character building than bad asset management. Althoug
