Pat Riley: Kyle Lowry “Can Be In Better Shape”

Kyle Lowry

Miami Heat guard Kyle Lowry had one of his worst years in recent memory. He averaged only 13.4 points, significantly less than he had in 2020-21 during his final season in Toronto, and he also missed time due to personal issues and injuries. Speaking at the end-of-season news conference, President Pat Riley believes the team currently assembled can win moving ahead. However, when discussing improvements that some of the players on the roster can make, he didn’t hold back, indicating his desire to see Lowry “be in better shape next year.” Nonetheless, fantasy managers will likely hesitate before picking him up during fantasy drafts. Yet, the upside may still be there for the 36-year-old, so he’s worth considering toward the middle-to-later rounds.
