Baltimore Ravens edge rusher David Ojabo came to terms with the team on Tuesday, the final 2022 draft pick to sign his rookie deal.
The four-year contract ended his holdout, a stalemate subsequent of differences in guaranteed money. Ojabo tore his Achilles at his pro day, leaving Baltimore hesitant to hand out long-term guarantees. The 45th overall selection may not see the field in 2022, but remains a bright spot amongst the Ravens’ future plans.
He enjoyed the tutelage of Mike Macdonald while at Michigan and now both will get a chance to hunt quarterbacks in Baltimore. Ojabo was a highly-touted prospect due to his burst and bend off the edge.
If he does touch the turf in 2022, it’ll be for a Ravens team expected to do big things. They currently are the favorites to win the AFC North at +165, per DraftKings.
