Rhamondre Stevenson Works In Two-Minute Drill

Last year, New England Patriots running back Damien Harris found the end zone 15 times. Now, his job could be in jeopardy.

Rhamondre Stevenson has seemingly taken over James White’s role as the third-down back in the Patriots offense. He saw time their on Monday, particularly during two-minute drills. Stevenson’s upward trend is hard not to notice, and it’s possible he eclipses Harris as the team’s primary rusher, especially in wake of the news that New England listed to Harris trade offers.

The Patriots will always employ some kind of committee, so while a handful of backs will see the field in 2022, Stevenson may carve out the biggest role. In any event, it’s yet another reason to take the under on DraftKings‘ 8.5 rushing touchdown mark for Harris (-130).
