Upcoming unrestricted free agent Serge Ibaka plans to remain in the league next season. There was chatter that the veteran could be heading overseas to play. However, it appears there was never any foundation to those rumors. Ibaka has missed more than enough time over the years due to injury, and he finished his most recent season with Milwaukee, where the 32-year-old averaged only 7.0 points and 5.3 rebounds throughout 19 games. His best days are likely in the past, although he should have more than a few effective fantasy outings up his sleeve moving forward. Still, Ibaka will likely go undrafted in most formats heading into the 2022-23 campaign, as he isn’t anticipated to be a consistent fantasy contributor, regardless of where he ends up.
