Minnesota Twins starting pitcher Sonny Gray was sharp in his return from the injured list Wednesday, holding the Seattle Mariners to just three hits and no runs in five innings of work. Gray struck out three and did not walk a batter. He took a no-decision in the contest, but fantasy managers have to be encouraged that Gray seemingly did not miss a bit after considerable time on the injured list with a pectoral injury. For the season, Gray has a 2.09 ERA and 0.93 WHIP to his name with a 3-1 record and 42 strikeouts in 38 2/3 innings.
