Oakland Athletics outfielder Stephen Piscotty (calf) is slated to begin a rehab assignment in the minors on June 21, according to A’s manager Mark Kotsay. Piscotty has been on the shelf with a left calf strain since May 6. He ran the bases at the Coliseum on Friday and is expected to run them again on Sunday. The 31-year-old has been limited to just 14 games this year due to injuries. Over those 14 games, he has slashed .225/.340/.325 with one home run, two stolen bases, three RBI and four runs.
