Stephen Strasburg Activated, Set For Season Debut Thursday

Stephen Strasburg

The Washington Nationals have activated starting pitcher Stephen Strasburg (neck, shoulder) from the 10-day injured list. He is set to make his 2022 debut in Thursday’s game against the Miami Marlins. Strasburg underwent thoracic outlet surgery over the offseason and has been brought back slowly ever since. The 33-year-old only made five starts last year due to injuries and went 1-2 with a 4.57 ERA and a 1.38 WHIP. The Nationals will likely be cautious with him, but he’s still worth rostering in most fantasy leagues as he could be a solid rotational arm down the stretch.
