Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Teoscar Hernandez provided a home run and a steal in a 7-6 victory over the Baltimore Orioles Wednesday. Hernandez went 2-for-4 with the two-run shot. With just four home runs on the season, Hernandez’s power output has been a major disappointment, but he’s slashing .383/.431/.633 with 10 runs scored and 12 RBI in his last 15 games, so the summer months could bring plenty of offense for the slugger. The home runs seem bound to increase after he produced 32 last season, and fantasy managers should remain patient and/or buy low if they can.
