Timberwolves Interested In Clint Capela

Atlanta Hawks center Clint Capela (15) is helped off the court

Atlanta Hawks center Clint Capela has been rumored to be on the move ahead of the 2022-23 campaign. His name has already been linked to a swap for Deandre Ayton. Yet, another franchise is seemingly interested in acquiring his services, the Timberwolves. It’s unknown who Minnesota would be willing to exchange. But if Capela ends up with the Timberwolves, his days as a consistent starting option are likely over, primarily with Karl-Anthony Towns expected to get plenty of work in the future. Capela, who has three years remaining on his current deal, has been a double-double threat throughout the years but has had issues staying healthy, so a demotion of sorts may be a good thing, especially if it keeps him on the floor moving ahead. Yet, fewer minutes isn’t usually beneficial for fantasy managers, and it would ultimately reduce the big man’s attractiveness in all formats.
