The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are dropping like flies.
Tristan Wirfs is the most recent Buccaneer to fall victim to injury. Dealing with a core injury, Wirfs exited Thursday’s joint practice with the Tennessee Titans early. The team has not yet released much in the form of an update on Wirfs, but it cannot be overstated how important he is to the offense. With Ryan Jensen out for the year and a group of wide receivers down on their luck, things can get cloudy in Tampa Bay.
If Wirfs is out for an extended period of time, consider taking a separate team to win the Super Bowl. FanDuel has the Bucs at +750, the Buffalo Bills at +600, and the Los Angeles Rams at +1100. A beat up Tampa Bay team may not have the potency required to take home a Lombardi Trophy without Wirfs.
