Houston Astros outfielder Yordan Alvarez went 2-for-4 with an RBI in the team’s 5-3 loss to the Texas Rangers on Monday. The 24-year-old has been putting up video game-like numbers so far in June. Through 11 games this month, he’s slashing .500/.560/.833 with three home runs, 14 RBI and eight runs. He’s already compiled five three-hit games this month. Alvarez is slashing .315/.403/.625 over 55 games on the season. He ranks fourth in the majors in home runs with 17 and third in the majors with a 1.028 OPS.
