Brian Burns Is Used To Scaring Boomers
Defensive coordinators have made a habit of game planning around Brian Burns, rubbing their bald heads as they scheme up ways to disrupt Burns' elite pass rushing ability. His athleticism off the edge is daunting and lends itself to a fair amount of extra help.
Off the field, though, Burns has his ways of spooking the elderly.
The Carolina Panthers hosted a Rolling Stones concert in their home stadium, prompting a question about the band and if the festivities were a distraction.
"Who's that?" questioned Burns.
An awkward silence fell upon the media zoom call. There's know way Burns didn't know one of the most famous bands of all time, right?
Well, yeah. After the reporter stammered his way into the clarification, Burns laughed it off and let the reporter know he was just pulling his leg. If you're quiet enough, you can still hear the collective sigh of relief from the call.
