Kyle Pitts Has Secret Versatility
If you've played sports at any level, you've probably met a coach that rubbed you the wrong way. Maybe they were mean or gave others preferential treatment. Maybe they just didn't do what was best for your development.
Atlanta Falcons tight end/wide receiver/unicorn Kyle Pitts knows the feeling all too well.
Pitts knew of his generational talent and measurables as a high schooler, even when coaches couldn't get out of their own way. He would end up transferring in the middle of his high school career to pursue his tight end dreams. The coach that played him as a rushing quarterback naturally told him it would never work out.
Swing and a miss.
Pitts played wide receiver, defensive end, and most importantly, tight end, at his next high school. He even racked up two interceptions in a state title game. His position switch ended with him as one of the most highly-touted recruits his position had to offer.
Now, Pitts is eviscerating opposing defenders over the middle of the field, scoring fantasy points for the coach that once doubted him. The only question left is whether he'll put his quarterbacking or ball hawking skills to the test in the NFL.
