Jones-ing for some what?
Mac Jones may have been a surprise with how well he performed in his rookie season, but the true surprise comes in the form of his pregame meal. Spaghetti, steak, and eggs. Let's just say that Jones probably won't be winning any culinary awards anytime soon, but the most impressive part in all of this is that the meal stays the same, no matter the kickoff time. So while NFL fans may indulge in a great breakfast on a gameday morning, just know that Jones is snacking on his unique dish at maybe 8 A.M.
In addition to the dish, Jones' name also has an interesting story behind it. "Mac" is actually a nickname based off his middle name, which just so happens to be his mother's maiden name. Jones' mother wanted her name to live on, but her side of the family didn't have a boy to carry the name on, so that's how the decision was made to include the McCorkle name with her own son.
For all you trash talking fans out there, his real name is actually Michael McCorkle Jones, but the story is pretty cool so let's stick to questioning his choice of food instead.
