Mike Evans Had An Accident
Mike Evans has caught a lot of passes in his days as a Tampa Bay Buccaneer, but he started catching some more historic ones once Tom Brady came to town.
Perhaps none were more celebrated than Brady's 600th touchdown pass. Nine yards, six points, and a souvenir for a lucky fan.
That's right, Evans took one of the most important footballs Brady will ever throw, and gave it to someone with as many career passing yards as you and I.
Thankfully, order was restored, and Evans apologized for his mistake.
"I accidentally gave it away," said Evans. "I didn't know."
The greatest of all time wasn't all too concerned, especially once the ball was in his position. Still, he didn't let Evans off the hook too easily.
"Well, I might accidentally not throw you another touchdown pass all season."
