In 2019, that bill was officially signed, and New Hampshire became the second state in the Northeast to offer legal sports gambling.
With little over a million people in the state, New Hampshire has zero professional sports teams. Their biggest city is Manchester with roughly 115,000 people. Only two Division 1 teams are in NH. Dartmouth and the University of New Hampshire.

Yes, gambling is legal in New Hampshire. Governor Chris Sununu signed a bill in July of 2019 that made sports betting legal in the state. Sununu also made the state’s first ever legal wager in December of 2019 when he placed a bet through DraftKings Sportsbook. To date, that is the only operation online sportsbook in NH. Currently, there are only two retail sportsbooks in the state. DraftKings is the operator of both sportsbooks within these casinos as well.
