Historian Thomas Fuller once said, “The fool wanders, a wise man travels.”
Wyoming has been getting travelers to its state for the beginning of time. Breathtaking of Yellowstone and other attractions has drawn people from all over the country. The state decided to capitalize on their tourism attraction by also legalizing sports betting.
Wyoming is the least populous state in the country. Its biggest city is Cheyenne with roughly 65,000 people. There are no major professional sports teams and only one Division 1 college, the University of Wyoming.
Even with the lack of population and local sports teams to support, The Equality State still pushed forward legalizing sports betting. Knowing more and more states were legalizing betting, they still wanted to be an attractive destination for when the sports gamblers were looking for a place to travel.
