David Bell Seeing More Work In Practice

The Cleveland Browns have had an eventful offseason, and figuring out whether or not a serial sexual predator will play Week 1 isn’t the last question on the test.

Figuring out what David Bell’s role within the offense is still yet to be seen. With his practice time put on hold due to a foot injury, only recently has he seen significant work. On Tuesday, he saw multiple red-zone targets from Jacoby Brissett. It’s possible Bell starts with a rotational role in the offense before blossoming into the team’s No. 2 receiver behind Amari Cooper. Despite not playing in the first preseason game, Bell will likely see reps, potentially even starting ones, the rest of the way.

There’s potential for a big rookie year from Bell. At +2500 to win the Offensive Rookie of the Year award (DraftKings) he is one of the best Hail Mary bets you can throw this season.
