At this point, it’s all about the legacy. How will LeBron James be remembered?
The greatest basketball player of all-time. The greatest ambassador of the game. A spokesperson for equal rights. A husband and father?
Don’t be misled. James is chasing a fifth NBA title and possibly a fifth NBA Finals MVP. He remains as committed to his craft as ever. Competing is his passion. He has played through injuries in 2022-2023. And it’s not as if the 2022-23 season will be his last. He would love to play with his son Bronny, who’s a senior in high school.
But the comparison, which will probably go on for decades – or until the next phenom emerges is this: Is James or Michael Jordan the greatest of all-time? Wouldn’t you love to be included in that debate?
