The Lovable Randle
Julius Randle's ride from good to great to something much worse has given New York Knicks fans heart palpitations and an extra layer of stress to their lives. His relationship may be permanently tarnished with the Knicks faithful, despite how grateful they are for the 2021 playoff run. It's safe to say Randle isn't exactly loved in New York.
One Randle is, though.
Kyden Randle, the son of the Knicks star, quickly became a star of his own. He's made plenty of Knicks game appearances and is a mainstay for warmups at the Garden. A mere toddler during New York's 2021 run, his seemingly aura of good luck made him a Knicks fan favorite. And he loved them back...maybe a little too much.
Prior to the 2022-'23 season, the Knicks lost a preseason contest was too much for Kyden. He was crying, distraught at New York's defeat. The wholesome moment gave fans a brief reminder that these players are people with lives off the court, and that Kyden was just as passionate as the rest of them.
Unfortunately for Kyden, rooting for the Knicks is not conducive to happiness. Here's to hoping his cries are just a phase.
