Yes, gambling is legal in Pennsylvania. Governor Eric Holcomb signed House Bill 1015 into law on May 8th, 2019. Retail sports betting was the first operation up and running. Holcomb placed Indiana’s first ever legal sports bets on September 1st, 2019.
There are about 15 brick-and-mortar locations currently operational. Mobile betting went live in October of 2019. Since then, there are roughly 13 online sportsbooks who operate within Indiana. The law gives the possibilities of up to 40 sportsbooks to operate.
