RJ Barrett's Basketball DNA
Some guys are just different. They seem destined for the league, even if they aren't as physically dominant as the Zion Williamsons and Kevin Durants of the world.
Knicks wing RJ Barrett is one of those dudes.
Barrett comes from a basketball family. His father, Rowan Barrett, played on Canada's national team. His teammate? NBA Hall of Famer Steve Nash. The multiple-time MVP winner and one of the greatest pure point guards in basketball history, Nash currently coaches the Brooklyn Nets.
Nash holds another important leadership role. He is Barrett's godfather.
Barrett has received top-tier training and mentorship from a supporting cast only the basketball gods could conjure. Now, it's up to him to win the championship his godfather couldn't.
