St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Jordan Hicks (forearm) will throw his first bullpen session on Sunday, June 12. The 25-year-old flamethrower was retroactively placed on the 15-day injured list back on May 25 with a right forearm flexor strain. He mostly struggled prior to the injury with a 1-4 record, 5.02 ERA, 1.40 WHIP, and 29:20 K/BB ratio over 28 2/3 innings (nine appearances, seven starts). He should be back with the team in mid to late July, barring any setbacks in his rehab.
