Kansas City Royals outfielder Andrew Benintendi isn’t starting on Wednesday against the San Francisco Giants and left-hander Sam Long. Benintendi is enjoying a productive season so far, batting .298 with a .365 on-base percentage and a pair of home runs in 252 plate appearances. Instead, it’ll be Hunter Dozier hitting sixth and starting in left field in place of Benintendi against the Giants. Dozier is batting .265 with a .323 on-base percentage, six home runs, and a stolen base through 217 plate appearances this season. He could be worth a look as a streaming option for fantasy managers in deeper leagues.
