Miami Marlins outfielder Avisail Garcia is not in the starting lineup on Monday against the New York Mets. Garcia will get a breather in a day game on Monday after going 5-for-20 (.250) with a homer and three RBI in five games over the last week for the Fish. Overall, he’s hitting just .226/.266/.314 with four home runs, 17 RBI, 19 runs scored and three stolen bases in 218 plate appearances over 54 games, so he hasn’t done a ton for fantasy managers. Jerar Encarnacion will get the start in right field on Monday and will hit seventh against Mets left-hander David Peterson. The 24-year-old rookie made his major league debut on Sunday and went 1-for-4 with a grand slam and two runs scored.
