Washington Commanders quarterback Carson Wentz has made it clear in offseason practices that he loves targeting rookie wide receiver Jahan Dotson, which is a nice change from Wentz’s usual favorite target, opposing defenses.
Dotson is consistently getting open for his quarterback during organized team activities and is developing some nice chemistry with Wentz early on. Considering they are not in pads yet as well as the absence of Terry McLaurin, it’s tough to envision this as anything significant at this time.
Still, fantasy managers should keep an eye on this as the offseason practices and minicamps continue, as this time is a chance to build valuable chemistry that can pay off later. With that in mind, Dotson could be worth a flier in fantasy drafts if this becomes more a story a month from now.
