Former Super Bowl champion K.J. Wright retired with the team he climbed the mountain with.
The Seattle Seahawks signed the linebacker to a one-day contract on Wednesday to honor him and his retirement. Wright spend 2021 with the Las Vegas Raiders after a decade with Seattle. In total, he accumulated 992 tackles, 68 tackles for loss, 13.5 sacks, and 11 forced fumbles. Wright was a Pro Bowler in 2016, too. He played a significant role on one of the best defenses football has ever seen.
The Seahawks will look to recreate the magic of those mid-2010s teams. However, Vegas isn’t so optimistic. They’ve been given +540 odds to make the playoffs per FanDuel.
