Atlanta Braves second baseman Ozzie Albies (foot) was placed on the 60-day injured list on Tuesday with a fractured left foot. The 25-year-old is batting .244 with a .289 on-base percentage, eight home runs, and three stolen bases in 263 plate appearances this season. Atlanta also selected infielder Phil Gosselin to the active roster. Gosselin appeared in 104 games for the Los Angeles Angels last year, hitting .261 with a .314 on-base percentage, seven home runs, and four stolen bases in 373 plate appearances.
