Tyler Stephenson To Miss 4-6 Weeks With Fractured Thumb

TYLER STEPHENSON

Cincinnati Reds catcher Tyler Stephenson (hand) fractured his thumb during Thursday’s game against the Arizona Diamondbacks. He is expected to be sidelined for between four and six weeks. This is a tough break for both the Reds and fantasy owners alike as Stephenson has been one of the most productive catchers in all of fantasy this year. Over 42 games, Stephenson has slashed .305/.361/.468 with five home runs, 31 RBI and 21 runs. Aramis Garcia will serve as the team’s primary catcher while Stephenson is out.
