Nick’s Picks NFL Week 10: Longshot TD Parlay heads to Germany

Well, here we go again. Last week stung and nearly kept me from posting a touchdown parlay this week. The touchdown vulture Jamaal Williams was unable to get into the end zone, despite the Lions having the ball at the goal line multiple times. However, after some thinking, that’s exactly what these sportsbooks want us to do. We cannot be demoralized. Sometimes luck just isn’t on our side. Luckily, that won’t be the case this week. Why? Because confidence is key.

The best part of all? We’ll know whether our picks win rather quickly, rather than a few hundred million people that are still waiting for results for picks they made earlier in the week. Apparently no one told them that they were making futures bets! On the bright side, take your mind off that hilarious incompetency and enjoy our Longshot Touchdown Parlay of the Week. In the interest of cashing this bet quickly, we managed to craft a parlay with some action from the game in Munich, meaning we’ll hopefully be halfway to payday by the time Scott Hanson appears on your screen at 1 P.M. eastern time.

Kenneth Walker III (SEA) -120

I could’ve opted for a major write-up regarding Kenneth Walker III and his chances to score a touchdown. However, he’s scored in five straight weeks and has seven total touchdowns over that span. Walker is a major piece to the Seahawks‘ offense and is a major reason why they are in the position they are right now. The Buccaneers‘ defense ranks in the bottom third with opponents rushing yards per game, so Walker should have a big day on the ground. With that production, coupled with a big workload, there’s no reason why the rookie can’t extend the streak to six games.

This bet is for Kenneth Walker III to score a rushing or receiving touchdown, as passing touchdowns do not count. The price listed on FanDuel is -120, meaning you would need to bet $120 on a single bet to win another $100.

Cade Otton (TB) +280

For the second part of the parlay, we head over to the opposite side of the field. Cade Otton scored the game-winning touchdown last week in a comeback win over the Rams. Tom Brady praised Otton, calling him “clutch,” which is really all we needed to see. Brady looked like the type of guy who needed a moment like that to get his mojo back and now suddenly Otton appears to be a trustworthy target. For a Seahawks’ team that has been extremely generous to tight ends this season, it just feels right to back the clutch Buccaneers rookie to deliver a repeat performance.

Chris Olave (NO) +250

Let’s keep the rookie theme going and head back to the states, shining the spotlight on a Saints‘ receiver specifically. Chris Olave hasn’t scored a touchdown since Week 5 against the Seahawks, but his workload hasn’t changed much. He is still a key part to the offense, totaling 14, seven, and nine targets in his last three games. With Minkah Fitzpatrick ruled out for the Steelers, Olave will get a matchup against a Pittsburgh secondary that is far from healthy. Opportunity is all we want in these spots and it would be hard to find someone who is listed higher than +250 that will also get the same amount of targets in the offense. Expect Olave to get his chance to dance.

Amari Cooper (CLE) +140

By now it is no secret just how generous this Dolphins‘ defense is. They play high scoring games and in order to total that many points, someone has to score. Miami is considered one of the worst pass defenses in the league, meaning we have to target the Browns‘ top receiver, Amari Cooper. The logic is simple. Find a matchup and exploit it. That’s what we have here with Cooper against the Dolphins secondary. Now it’s up to Jacoby Brissett to find him to put six points on the board.

TD Parlay +5697

This week’s parlay pays +5697, meaning a $100 bet would payout an additional $5,697 if all four players score a touchdown. A parlay is when you are combining outcomes to create a larger potential payout. Therefore in order to win, we have to be perfect on the picks. As always, happy betting and please play responsibly.

I have season tickets to the Jets but believe it to be more character building than bad asset management. Althoug
