Kadarius Toney Could Become Giants WR1

The New York Giants hit the reset button this offseason, rendering new beginnings for many of its most talented players.

Perhaps no one will see a bigger jump than wide receiver Kadarius Toney. The sophomore is known for his quick-twitch ability, explosiveness, and ability to create big plays with the ball in his hands. With head coach Bill Daboll manning the ship, New York will have an exciting play caller for the first time in years. It’s likely Toney sees a more significant version of Isaiah McKenzie’s role in Buffalo, where manufactured touches are stressed.

Additionally, the Giants have struggled to put together a threatening group of receivers, so there is a window open for Toney to step in as the team’s leading receiver. Currently, DraftKings has set Daniel Jones’ passing yards total at 3,650.5 yards. A big year from Toney can take up a hefty portion of that and potentially raise the bar for New York’s offense.
